Havana International Conference Center

Founded in 1979, the Havana International Conference Center (HICC) (named in Spanish: Palacio de las Convenciones) is an institution of indisputable prestige in Cuba, specialized in events and congresses organization. It is located in one of the most beautiful residential neighborhoods of the city and covers an area of 60 000 square meters.

The Center organizes, promotes and carries out conventions, congresses, symposia, conferences, national and international meetings, fairs and exhibitions. Moreover, it encourages and commercializes the activities scheduled for each of the international events and fairs held in HICC, through a wide network of official agencies in Latin America, North America and Europe, without exclusive character and in common agreement with associations and companies interested in these services.

In order to achieve its goals successfully, the Havana International Conference Center counts with 11 modernly equipped air-conditioned rooms, simultaneous interpreting services and cutting-edge audiovisual aids. It also has other multipurpose rooms and offices that guarantee carrying out events with success. Apart from its technological and architectural infrastructure, which makes the Center a must-see place in Cuba, the strength of HICC lies in its group of Professional Congress Organizers. They are present from the very first stage of event design and conception to the final stage of celebration and culmination of the event, with the consequent achievement of the desired goals in terms of intellectual exchange.
